BIO

Aislinn Thomas is a family lawyer with Drury Family Law. Her practice focuses on financial issues arising from separation and divorce, including income determination, support, property division, disclosure, and complex financial disputes.

Aislinn has worked on matters within the firm before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Supreme Court of Canada, and the Ontario Court of Justice. She has also appeared before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. This experience gives her a strong understanding of how family law issues are advanced at both the trial and appellate levels, and how careful preparation can affect the outcome of a case.

Aislinn is particularly focused on the financial side of family law. She works with clients on complete income and property issues, including financial disclosure, support calculations, property claims, corporate or business-related income questions, and cases where the financial circumstances of the parties require close review.

Clients benefit from Aislinn’s organized, detail-oriented approach. She understands that financial family law disputes can be stressful, technical, and deeply personal. Her goal is to help clients understand the numbers, the legal framework, and the practical steps needed to move their matter forward.

Aislinn brings careful analysis and strong preparation to each file. Whether a matter is being resolved through negotiation, court proceedings, or appeal work, she focuses on identifying the key issues early and building a clear strategy around the client’s goals.
